Don't Mow Your Lawn

For the good of the bees, and you

Bee populations are under pressure. Without bee pollination crops are endangered.  Research has shown that leaving lawns to grow naturally, for at least some of the year, helps bee numbers grow.

Our Campaign

This campaign uses audio, video and social media messages to encourage homeowners who value the environment and are concerned about the welfare of their families to allow their lawns to grow naturally for at least some of the year.

According to the National Park Service, pollinators are in danger for a number of reasons, including habitat loss and insecticides. The mowed lawn contributes to both problems. By allowing native wild flowers to grow, homeowners can have a beautiful yard and help our valuable assistants.
